Like something out of a storybook, two fairy godmothers have been hard at work overhauling the décor and layout while preserving the architecture and historic character of the building. NOIRMOUTIER: A NIGHT AND SO MUCH MORE AT THE GÉNÉRAL D’ELBÉE
EXPERT REVIEW: BLOGGER GILLES PUDLOWSKI VISITS THE HOTEL.
The hotel has experienced a sort of rebirth under the leadership of Claudie Frelon, a native of Challans, who took charge of modernising the building without sacrificing its old-fashioned charm.
The gentle colours, soft lighting, historical paintings, luxurious rooms and suites (26 in all), Nuxe spa and swimming pool in the patio will charm any visitor to this beautiful, newly reborn establishment.
A NEW LOOK FOR THE GÉNÉRAL D’ELBÉE
